The Ultimate Indulgence
It's the Saturday before Christmas and I KNOW there are some of you who still have gifts to buy so I'm sharing this early present I received from Laura this week because it's just about the best thing ever and if you're really stuck for ideas it's an excellent set to pick up for pretty much anyone. For me it's the ultimate indulgence, something I really wanted but never could justify buying for myself. I bought a smaller set in the sales a few years ago of the Ambre Vanille scrub, body souffle and the honey bath and I was so in love with the scent I vowed to pick up the fragrance but never did. I mentioned it frequently in the meantime, it appeared on multiple wish lists, I finally used up the remaining scraps of the products recently after seriously stretching them and just this week I told my husband it was going to be my treat purchase after Christmas. Imagine my joy to then open this fully comprehensive set from Space NK!!
Being a huge lover of all things affordable I never really thought luxury bath products were worth their hefty price tag but I can attest that these really are. It's not just the intoxicating scent but the formula of the body souffle is just amazing. It looks petite but it's the Mary Poppins carpet bag of jars, I swear. A little goes a very long way and honestly, I'd pay full RRP for a big jar of this, I really would. I'm not stingy but I don't like to spend a lot of consumables so that's a hefty endorsement from me. The fragrance was the thing I was desperate to try (it's almost always out of stock) so I'm happy to finally have that but I've heard from several people who the scent fades more quickly with that than the souffle (which lasts all day, fills the room, scents the bed sheets etc etc).. strange but time will tell. Of course having both I wiill layer the two but trials will be necessary to prove this theory.
