CELINE / Audrey

I've been a loyal RayBan wearer for a few years now but have wanted a pair of swankier specs for a while so when I got the chance to review a new style from SmartBuyGlasses I was excited to browse. Turns out sunglasses come is ALL shapes and sizes and it was tricky to narrow it down but I knew I wanted tortoiseshell, oversized, plastic and with no nose pads - they always get caught in my hair when I rest them on my head! I found this pair from Celine and although initially I thought they might be comically large for me I got used to the extra size pretty quickly and absolutely love them now.

img_3196img_3045img_3199I'm really glad I went for this 'Dark Havana' frame, it's not obviously patterned, very subtle but a lot softer against my complexion than black which can look a little harsh next to my pale skin. Another difference is the case, often with the more exclusive (read: expensive) designers the case is huge and totally impractical but these came with a slim but very padded pouch that's so much more likely to be used than a huge clam shell style. The branding is understated, any logos are n the inside of the arms and the only feature someone MIGHT recognise are the 3 dots in the corners but they're definitely not 'in yer face' designer. They do feel substantial and I have dropped them off my head countless times already with no sign of scratches to the frame/lenses which is a huge bonus for this klutz! Overall I'm really happy with them and the discounted price makes them only marginally more expensive than my trusty RayBans.. so if you're looking to upgrade your shades you might want to check out SmartBuyGlasses! These are the exact ones featured / They were provided to me for this review / This post was not paid for by SmartBuyGlasses
