The Kitchen I Didn't Have

So.. this was a mood board I made for the house we made an offer on in the Summer. It had a new kitchen that was not at all to my taste and I was trying to put together a collection of ideas that would brighten up the great while still incorporating that beachy 'Hamptons' vibe I've been lusting after since first watching Something's Gotta Give and falling in love with that Nancy Meyers interior.

The space wasn't huge but the outlook was lush and I definitely saw myself sitting at the table, looking out over the garden, enjoying my morning coffee. There's a little pang when I consider that now because I was SO looking forward to the change but when my parents move in the New Year we will have twice as much space without the hassle of the move. Most importantly, our current kitchen has so much more Hamptons kitchen potential with just a few updates.

I'm waiting on a quote for a new counter, tiles and sink and have been trawling the web for a beach table and rattan dining chairs. I'm leaning in to a blue/white brass theme, being the basic bitch that I am and I'm adjusting my coffe morning vision to fit my new (old?!) home.

This is still my colour palette but I'm going to share some new inspo photos and items I have my eye on for the post-Christmas sales soon!
