Avon Gel Finish / Envy

I'm so in to green nail polish right now, I'm not big on brighter shades in the Summer months but when the festive season rolls around these deep emeralds just call out to me. This one in particular reminds me so much of another winter favourite, Dive Bar from Essie. There's the hint of a deep blue duo chrome that gives it a bit of a twist and although I always use my own top coat the gel-like shine on the Avon formula's is pretty darn good. I've just repainted my nails with this same colour after it chipped heavily 4 days in so it's not the most long lasting polish I've ever used but the gel formula's tend to be thicker and chip more quickly anyway so I expected that. I have a dozen Avon shades to share from a Christmas selection box soon but this was my favourite so I thought it deserved its own post. Will make it in to my regular rotation for sure!
