Cravings / 5 Things I Want Right Now
1.GLOSSIER!!Never have I been so unreasonably excited about a brand who to be frank is not all that exciting. The hype well and truly has me on this and I have placed not one but TWO orders since they launched last week. I'm yet to receive the first but in a crazy haze I decided that before I filmed a video I must have more. The low maintenance (read:lazy) in me finds their stuff quite appealing but it's not cheap and I'm in pretty deep at this point so I am prepared for some major disappointment. Watch this space2. A CHRISTMAS TREEAgain, I know it's unreasonable but it's literally all I've been thinking about - see this post! We actually went to our very first pumpkin patch today in a bid to feel more connected to the current season and it did an ok job but I still put up some subtle fairy lights in the living room this evening, so...3. A TRAVEL WALLETMy favourite part of a holiday is the planning. I've already got a spreadsheet (you heard me) written up for our girls trip to The Big Apple next month and intend to spend the next week window shopping for 'essentials' I may need to take along. One thing I obsess over each and every time I travel is an Aspinal Travel Wallet, I think it's the monogram factor that won me over but they're so pricey I just can't pull the trigger. Maybe one day.4. THIS WORKS - STRESS CHECK BREATHE INI've been using what I'm assuming is a travel sized version of this for the past few weeks and I can't tell you how much it's helped ease my mind in more anxious moments. I roll a little on to my wrists, take deep breaths and by some miracle I do genuinely feel calmer. I'm entirely converted! What are your top aromatherapy-related rec's?5. NOISE CANCELLING HEADPHONESAgain, this is travel related. I've watched approximately 100 versions of 'what's in my carry on' this week and the item that comes up as a 'must have' again and again is noise cancelling headphones. The Bose ones get a lot of air time but they are painfully pricey so I think I'll be looking for a cheaper alternative or turning to eBay but if you have a pair you'd like to recommend I'm all ears ;)
