Essie Sheer Neutrals / My Favourites SWATCHED

Initially I wanted to take full on 'nail of the day' swatch pics of every one of these colours but UGH! It takes forever to build up sheer colours so something worth photographing and I just didn't have 3 days to set aside so here we are. I have my very favourite (Birthday Suit) below and I've used these handy little swatch sticks to demonstrate the rest. In fairness, they're not all sheer (fiji, I'm looking at you) but they all fall in to the neutral 'french manicure' category for me.

Essie are some of my favourites when it comes to formula. They can be hit and miss chip-wise but all of these will last at least 3 days on me providing I wear my trusty Seche Vite top coat. If you don't already own that, you need it. I've been really in to sheer neutrals recently 'cause they're so forgiving when they do chip or you've applied in a rush. Your nails look more 'polished' but they never look as worn as when you lose a corner of a brighter shade. The perfect Summer Holiday option if you don't want to worry about touching up while you're away!
