Going Postal
This morning I'm looking ahead a little to that oh so romantic holiday that's approaching. I know it's not for everyone but I love valentines, you don't have to do anything fancy but a token gesture never goes a miss. My husband and I have a flurry of celebrations within 2 weeks of each other, my Birthday, our Anniversary and then V-day so we tend to cover them all in one day and given that it's a 3 in 1 situation a bunch of flowers is a given. They're a fail safe for most occasions and today I'm sharing a little money off code for flowers you can have delivered by POST from Debenhams.
They sent me a bunch of 12 red roses so I could trial the service for you first and give you an idea of what it entails. I wasn't really expecting much, I thought they'd be flat and difficult to arrange since they'd be in a box but they were fresh and already blooming when they arrived. A week later and they're all open and still going strong. When you get in to the box the bouquet is nicely wrapped, as if you'd just picked them up from the shop only there's a little hydration pack (read: water) attached to the stems to keep them fresh in transit. My bunch came with a box of chocolates (nice touch, Debenhams) but there are plenty of add on options available. Whether you have someone to buy for or want to send the link to someone as a less than subtle hint the service is really affordable and one I'd recommend.
You can get 25% off the flower delivery range with code DFBLOG25 - the smaller 'flowers by post' bouquets are excluded from this offer but that's a really small range.
