March Favourites
I haven't done a blog version of this in a while but in a bid to cater to both the watchers and the readers I thought I'd double up my monthly favourites for March and post about some of my recent product picks..Palmer's Coconut Oil Body LotionI picked this up after a major tattoo cover up last month, so many of you recommended Palmer's Cocoa Butter but I preferred the coconut scent and have used it every day since I bought it. So light and quick to absorb and it smells like holidays.. I'm almost out already.Pantene Foam ConditionerAnother product recommendation from social media, when I talked about conditioner being too heavy for my no longer incredibly dry and damaged hair several people suggested this.. and it's awesome. If you have fine or oily hair I think you'll love this. Really lightweight but adds just enough moisture and shine.Revlon Cuticle SoftenerA totally random find.. in fact Ella picked this one out because she thought it looked cool and her favourite colour is blue, ha! It's not QUITE as great as my Sally Hansen gel but it's pretty close and I've used it considerably more often because of the brush applicator.. also smells a bit like elderflower.. or at least to me.Vichy Dermablend Setting PowderI pulled this out of my drawer a few weeks ago on a whim and can't believe I haven't been using this every day. It's a super fine powder that blurs and creates a soft focus effect. Especially lovely under the eyes and around the nose.. anywhere a traditional powder may settle.NYX Liquid Black EyelinerAnother find from within my own makeup stash.. I think I bought this along with a bunch of other bits and pieces when I had decided to film a one brand look (which I'm not sure I ever did) and I forgot all about it. The brush is very fine and the formula is very black, liquid and long lasting.. if you're a fan of Rimmel Glam Eyes or The Balm Schwing I think you'll like this one.Rimmel Only One Matte in SaluteI've already been vocal about my love of these lipsticks and Salute is my current love. It's so so similar to my favourite MAC Faux (In fact I may have a post of multiple dupes of this coming up) and the texture is very similar to the Revlon Matte Balms..Becca Skin Perfector in Champagne PopLast but not least I have been rediscovering highlighters this month.. with Summer looming I've been bronzing, shimmering, I'm even planning on faking a tan this week!! My most golden and beautiful of the bunch has to be Becca Champagne Pop.. but I'm told that there are more neutral/paler shades I may prefer so that's on my shopping list for Vegas next week.
