Maybelline Creamy Mattes

These lipsticks have been out for quite a while in the states and I've been eagerly awaiting their arrival so imagine my excitement when SIX of them arrived on my doorstep, yay! From the colour selection I'm guessing we're only getting this 6 for now but there are 20 in the US right now (so their website tells me) so fingers crossed we get the rest as well because they might be my favourite drugstore formula. Very, very similar to the Revlon Matte Balms in texture but a little creamier and easier on imperfections. They don't last QUITE as long and the darker shades DO bleed but if you're looking for a comfortable matte lip these should be your first stop!

The pay off of the paler shades isn't quite as good as the bolder ones but over a liner I think they'll be perfect. Really every one of these would benefit from a lip liner but I'm really only just getting in to that trend. I do like a nice crisp, sculpted lip line but who has the time? Brows and mascara takes long enough!!! I think my favourite of the bunch is probably Magnetic Magenta but I've been wearing Divine Wine all day and it's so very seasonal I think it will get the most wear time for now. I can't find these online yet so I'm not sure when they will hit stores but if you've spotted themlet us know.. especially if you see any additional colours!
