The One With Friends Fest
Friends Fest has been touring the country for the past couple of months but I haven't seen much about it online so I thought I'd share some pictures from out visit to Harewood House in Leeds yesterday. I booked the tickets in the summer as soon as I got them email that they were on sale, I missed the mini one in London last year and was NOT missing this one. I've heard mixed reviews but for me it was awesome, I'm a huge Friends fan and if you look at it as one long photo opportunity it is spot on. The tickets aren't cheap but everywhere you go there are members of staff ready and willing to take your picture and you never feel rushed. There was a bizarre silent disco in the form of Dick Clarke's New Years Rockin' Eve and a main stage performer from about midday getting people involved in quizzes and other show related activities.. oh and a Vegas wedding 'chapel' so there is a bit of entertainment but it's mainly an opportunity to walk around the 'sets' of a show you love. There are food and drink stalls, none of which were mega crowded when we went and the parking was a doddle.. all in all it was a great way to spend the morning with FRIENDS.. get it? Not something I'd do more than once but if you're a big fan of the show I think you'd get a kick out of it.
