What A Carry On

These are my favourite posts to read, I love seeing how other people organise things. For me the best bit of traveling is the anticipation and planning, packing, list making.. some people hate that but I can't get enough and so I'm going to be doing a little series of posts on what I'm taking along with me on holiday. Today we're looking at my carry on bag. The bag itself is the Louis Vuitton Neverfull MM.. it's expensive (more so now you have to buy it with the extra pouch inside) but of all of the designer stuff I've bought it's definitely the thing I regret least. It's lasted so well and is the perfect bag for those who carry their lives around with them. I always use it for travel but I often use it as my daily bag too so if you've been considering one I"d highly recommend the MM size for versatility!

On to the contents..

iPad Mini (case from Amazon) / Anker charger (will charge anything that has a usb port adapter) / Frends Layla headphones / Apple in ear headphones (it's a long flight so I wanted choice) / Halo hand wipes / Osprey travel wallet (found in TK Maxx for a steal) / Kate Spade Glitterbug Lacey Wallet / Paperchase passport cover (and passport) / Topshop purse (this holds any medication, ibuprofen, plasters etc) / Ray Ban pink mirrored aviators (more on these while I'm away - I'm obsessed with them!) / Denman Tangle Tamer (necessary since I had extensions fitted) / Olympus PEN E-PL7 (which I will use for vlogging as well as all photos) / iPhone 5C / Makeup/Toiletries bag (this will be a separate post) / Lastly I will take a snack, the Oreos featured here have since been eaten (moments after this photo was taken) but I'll pick some bits up at the airport to eat and drink as well as mints/chewing gum etc. On top of all that I will also throw in a huge scarf/blanket from ASOS I bought specifically for the plane - it's massive and super soft and cosy - as well as this new memory foam neck pillow. I bought one for Lee too.. don't tell anyone but I'm wearing mine now. I walked around half of London yesterday carrying Milo so I ache EVERYWHERE and it's really quite a comfort so that bodes well for the flight!

This time I am actually taking along a wheely carry on too but that's to carry anything I'm worried about losing/damaging in checked bags such as expensive items/my computer etc. Also leaving lots of space for bringing things home, of course!! Every time I travel I try to cut back on my carry on as it can be so heavy but I feel like what I have here really are the essentials, luckily I can leave my DSLR at home since I go the PEN which saves not only weight but a lot of space and since I will be carrying it around every day my shoulder with thank me for that too.
