#30in30 MAC Rebel

I've had MAC Rebel FOREVER and barely worn it, I think because the very deep lip contrasted so much with my very blonde hair.. enter my new ombre/bronde and? PERFECT! I'm what they call a 'soft autumn' apparently and I totally get that as I love autumnal colours and my new, darker do is definitley going to lend itself more to berry shades like this! Rebel's finish is satin which is my SECOND favourite texture, more comfortable than matte but bolder and less smudgy than a creamsheen.

The colour is vibrant and super pigmented in only one swipe but as you can see from my lip swatch.. it would benefit from a liner to get a clean edge. In a previous post someone commented on a lip swatch being really ' smooth' and I'd say the same of this, really creamy looking colour which doesn't cling too much to imperfections and is just a really easy finish to work with. Wear time is probably 3 to 4 hours without eating/drinking which is fairly standard. Overall it's really no surprise this is a firm fan favourite, it will almost certainly become one of mine next season!
