Beauty Pie - Mineral Serum Foundation

#GIFTEDSome of you may know (I might have mentioned it ONCE OR TWICE) that I'm on a 'no buy' this month. I've stayed (almost entirely - there was a sequin camo jacket not to be resisted on eBay) strong but am coming in to April with a beauty shopping list as long as my arm and top of that list? A Beauty Pie order.I had already put together what I wanted when I was contacted by the PR and offered a box of goodies to try.. uhh, yes please! I'll still be placing my own order because there are a few more products I want that weren't included but I've been DYING to test out  this foundation so I felt the Gods of 'no buy' were smiling on me when that arrived.Looking online, my first query is cost. It appears to be a different price for different shades - odd but the insinuated saving is a good one. They claim to have the same labs/ingredients as the luxury beauty brands ; which informs their 'Typical Price', in this case £30. You are then able to 'access the discount' with a £10 monthly membership to the site.I 100% thought this was a gimmick/scam when I first heard of Beauty Pie and waited patiently for it to come out via twitter and then fade away like so many before.. but it didn't. Review after review said it was an amazing concept with effective products and once I took away my spending power I ABSOLUTELY HAD TO SIGN UP!This is really just a toe in the pool today, I'll be back with a more comprehensive review on the service/the company but I couldn't wait to add my own endorsement to this fan favourite. It's just one of the best foundations I have ever tried. I have the shade 200/Buttermilky which is works for me but the formula is the blurring potion of dreams! Similar to Hello Happy (my current love) but with a little more coverage. Neither really sets on the skin and as such you can smudge/wipe it away if you're a face toucher and it isn't transfer proof but it's exactly the kind of foundation that I love.It looks like skin, it's not so full coverage that it masks all imperfections but it gives enough blur to hide any visible pores/fine lines. It's not a bullet proof, all day wear kind of animal but if you like something a little more natural, you should be able to get a full work day out of it, no problem.Apparently it's been compared to the Armani foundation in similar packaging, I haven't tried that (too rich for my blood) but it definitely feels like a luxury product and if you sold it to me as such, I would have totally believed you!Have you tried anything from Beauty Pie yet?
