This Colour's Making Waves
This picture makes me super sad that I'm not on holiday anymore.. and not only am I not on holiday but it's cold and rainy here in the north as I write this *sob*. I thought we'd come back to Summer but it turns out it was just a spell of good Easter luck, now we're back to regular English weather and dreaming of booking our next break away. I'm not a huge lover of blue nail polish ordinarily but of the new OPI Hawaii collection this one kept jumping out at me and when I saw it for the cheaper, US price in CVS I couldn't resist. Bizarrely I also got another blue shade from Essie (post to come) at the same time.. it must have been the warmer weather, I mean I couldn't have found a better backdrop to shoot against than the hotel pool, could I? What I would give to be sitting there with a cocktail in my hand again.
2 or 3 coats for an opaque bottle finish with this and it was relatively chip resistant with my trusty Seche Vite top coat. Might just have turned me back on to OPI after a long love affair with China Glaze as the colour I was wearing when I took off (Flip Flop Fantasy) was almost entirely gone from both my fingers AND toes by the time we landed.. not excellent! A great excuse to buy more as soon as humanly possibly though, can't be having chipped nails on HOLIDAY after all! ;)
